The beauty of being in Central Florida is that you are only about 1 hour away from either coast!

St. Pete's Beach - Our personal favorite!

Home of pristine white sand beaches, clear gulf waters, warm sunshine, and plenty of hospitality. St Pete's has four miles of glorious white sandy beach. Snorkeling, wind surfing and other water sports are available for your enjoyment. Many of the restaurants serve locally caught fresh seafood and there is ample shopping in the town centre. St. Petersburg attracts visitors with the famous Salvador Dali Museum, award winning Fort De Soto Park and the St. Petersburg Pier. There are a wide range of museums, art galleries, natural attractions and entertainment. The neighboring beach communities offers unique shopping experiences such as Johns Pass historic fishing Village and Boardwalk. Drive time - less than 1.5 hours.

Cocoa Beach

Cocoa beach is one of the many islands that run along the east coast and is a laid back beach with lovely soft sand. The Cocoa Beach Pier juts out over 800 feet over the ocean and has a few restaurants, small rides and souvenir shops. Ron Jons Surf Shop is located here. Cocoa village is on the mainland about ten minutes drive from the beaches. It is a lovely and picturesque village with a selection of shops, boutiques and restaurants and a great place to spend a couple of hours meandering around the quaint streets. And, in addition to being the closest beach to Orlando, Cocoa Beach is situated just minutes from Florida's fastest growing port - Port Canaveral - where you can embark from the world class cruise terminals aboard affordable cruises to exotic destinations. Disney Cruise Line makes its home in Port Canaveral, as well as Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Drive time - 1 hour.

Clearwater Beach

Clearwater beach is a narrow island separating Clearwater Harbour from the Gulf of Mexico and is reached via a long inter coastal highway bridge. Serious sunbathing and water sports in abundance are here as are dolphins which can often be seen playing in the sea. The landmark Pier 60 is the centre point of beach activities and is great for sunsets. There are also plenty of seafront restaurants. It is also a favorite of the yachting community cruising along the coast. Drive time - 1.5 hours.

Daytona Beach

Daytona is one of the USA's most famous beaches with 23 miles of wide sandy beach. The tide goes out a long way making it great for kids to play. You can drive along and park on the beach and there are sun beds and various equipment available for hire. Daytona is home to 'Race Week' and the Daytona 500 in February and 'Bike Week' in March. Drive time - 1 hour.

New Smyrna Beach

New Smyrna Beach is a beautiful city that is nestled among the moss-draped trees along the shores of the picturesque Indian River in Volusia County. It’s located on the central east coast of Florida, completely surrounded by bodies of water; the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Intracoastal Waterway to the west and Mosquito Lagoon in between the two. New Smyrna Beach is definitely a laid-back coastal community; free of the crowds and noise that plague other Florida beaches, with a very rich history. Outdoor recreation is a way of life in New Smyrna Beach, with everything from swimming and scuba diving to golf and hiking. However, the beaches are the top draw for this beautiful island town. It has more than 13 miles of pristine white sand beaches with an additional 24 miles of coastline at nearby Canaveral National Seashore, which is located on the south end of the island. Drive time - 1 hour.

Canaveral Seashore

Situated on a barrier island along Florida's east coast, inviting park highlights include pristine beach, sand dunes and lagoons offering sanctuary to an abundant blend of plants and animals. Year-round recreation includes fishing, boating, surfing, sunbathing, swimming, hiking, camping, nature and historical trails. Located in between Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach, this is one of Florida's most undeveloped beach fronts. It extends for around 25 miles and has dunes, lagoons, salt marshes and flatlands with very few crowds. The only amenities along this stretch are located at Apollo and Playa Linda Beaches. Take snacks and drink as there are no facilities at all. Drive - 1 hour.
